I know some people who use kb/m and have some pretty smooth movement, and I can regularly get 85-95% accuracy with the sniper rifles (which wasn't always the case). At the end of the day, you being a good or bad player comes down to solely you and has virtually nothing to do with the control type you use.Īnyone who tells you that you can't move well on kb/m (especially when it comes to melee dodging) or that you can't aim on controller is just making excuses. To me, it feels quite awkward while a controller feels very natural, but everyone likes what they like. Me personally, I'm a controller user all the way. I think the throwing is the only difference you between the two that you can't do anything about (aside from trivial things, like how you move on the loadout screen). We're not enforcing this rule as a form of censorship, we're enforcing this because subreddits tend to get lots of new players, and the last thing we as a community should do is make people tuck tail and run. Clearly jokes and stuff are fine, but if you're harassing someone, that's not cool. Other than that, have fun, and be excellent to each other! We're really passionate about the game, so we ask that posts in this subreddit be relevant to Helldivers - other content should go on /r/gaming or /r/games.
