It is not always located on the floor you are currently on, so you might have to go up or down floors to find it. You then can go and find the runesphere on that floor at your world. Additionally, a runesphere icon appears at the top left of the screen, saying when hovered "Runesphere Active on the Bottom/Middle/Top Floor! (Phase)". When a runesphere appears, a message in the chatbox is given to those inside Runespan, A runesphere has spawned on the Bottom/Middle/Top Floor!. If it spawns on the top floor, its best spawn is Soul phase, middle floor Law phase and bottom floor Body phase. The spawn phase is dependent on the floor level. Normally they spawn on each world at the same time, but not necessarily the same floor, phase, and location. The spawn time between runespheres is about 2 hours 30 minutes and 50 seconds (9050 seconds) apart. It will disappear after 1 hour and 20 seconds (3620 seconds) have passed from its spawn. Assuming the runesphere starts on the soul layer, it will last for approximately 38 minutes and 37 seconds (2317 seconds) before reverting to its core. The runesphere will slowly lose layers regardless of whether or not anyone has siphoned it. Players will still be able to get Runecrafting experience from siphoning runespheres if they own the maximum amount of rune dust. Players cannot own more than 1,000 rune dust at a time. A maximum of 1,000 rune dust can be handed in each day, making the maximum amount of experience able to be obtained from the pure energy each day 25,000 experience. Players can hand in rune dust to the pure energy, resulting in 25 Runecrafting experience per energy. When all the layers of the runesphere have been siphoned off, a ball of pure energy will be revealed. Each successful siphon will reward the player between 1-6 rune dust, depending on the type of rune layer the runesphere is on. Siphoning the runesphere requires rune essence. The runesphere is an object and D&D that appears in the Runespan that can be siphoned for runes, and rune dust, and Runecrafting experience.
